Can I use flannel sheets for my guinea pig’s bedding?
I have bad allergies and I think using aspen for my guinea pigs is a big contribute to my allergy issues. Is it okay to use like flannel sheets? For example, like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr7bBsXkJGU&feature=related

I have a super pet burgundy cage you can find it on the Petsmart website, I can give additional link if needed, just ask.
Also, will the pee and poop seep through? Will the sheets/blankets hold a stronger odor? How often would I need to change out the blankets/sheets?
I don’t see what’s wrong with that. However, most use fleece if they aren’t using shavings.
I would try fleece.
EDIT: If you mean with fleece, it will be more absorbent then what you are using now. You change it as often as any other bedding, though. If you’re worried about it soaking through, I’d line newspaper underneath the fleece (don’t worry- black/white newspaper ink is safe for guinea pigs!).
